2017 Elise Bickford Fox 08-2017 Fox, Elise Bickford Savannah River National Laboratory Contribution to the science/profession: Recognized for the advancement of materials characterization for renewable energy and the promotion of renewable energy policy, which drove the development of current and future policy for the southeastern United States. Contribution to the ACS community: Recognized for leadership at every level of ACS, including the Savannah River Local Section, the Division of Energy and Fuels, the Committee on Environmental Improvement, the Younger Chemists Committee, and outreach to the community.
