Stanislaus (Stan) S. Wong is a distinguished professor in the College of Arts and Sciences Department of Chemistry at Stony Brook University. Stan is recognized for his distinguished contributions to carbon nanotube chemistry; the sustainable synthesis and characterization of novel nanoscale formulations of scientifically relevant oxide-based nanostructures; and the rational tailoring of nanomaterials for energy applications and significant contributions to the ACS community, including programming contributions to numerous divisions and as an Editorial Advisory Board member to various ACS journals.
