Dr. John W. Larsen, professor of chemistry at Lehigh University, will receive national recognition next month for his research on coal. Larsen will receive the 1985 Henry H. Storch Award from the American Chemical Society Fuels Division at the society's national meeting in Chicago this week. Larsen is being honored for his creative applications of the principles of physical organic chemistry to characterize coal's chemical structure and reactivity.
